The city of Berlin, Germany is around the river Spree in the Province, the federal state of Brandenburg. Berlin is the capital of Germany and has undergone tremendous changes over the past 100 years. Now is a thriving modern city and exciting, welcoming both tourists and business visitors. Since the Second World War, the city has changed in modern times, having suffered the Second World War in much of Europe.

Much of Berlin has been rebuilt, restored or rejuvenated and there are still some wonderful architecture, both ancient and new, side by side. There are several tourist information offices located in downtown Berlin and these provide an update on the Berlin tourist attractions, museums, events, festivals, tours, sightseeing in Berlin and tourism in general.

With so much to see and do, the city has become a popular destination for visitors and there is a good selection of hotels, which vary in price depending mainly on the area where accommodation is situated in Berlin. The luxury hotels in Berlin were widespread throughout the city, although there are many hotels that offer good budget accommodation for those who wish for economy during his stay in Berlin.

When the Berlin Wall was destroyed is 1989 this was a huge turning point for the city, this is divided by more than 28 years. East and West Berlin are now consolidated, but still no sign of division in these areas. There are countless landmarks throughout the city and the tourist attractions of Berlin are, the Fernsehturm Television Tower, the tallest structure in the city, with a revolving restaurant, Potsdamer Platz, one of the busiest squares in Europe full of shops, bars, cafes and entertainment venues, Checkpoint Charlie, probably the most famous of the old Berlin Wall and the Reichstag, German parliament building. The city is full of information about Berlin’s history, with museums such as Museum Island, a complex of five museums that contain many important collections and the Egyptian Museum, with archaeological artifacts from 6,000 years old. There are also numerous art galleries in Berlin, where tourists can see sculptures, ancient and modern works of world famous artists like Van Gogh, Cezanne and Picasso.

The Tiergarten is Berlin’s central park and a green oasis covers a vast area of over 630 hectares acres/252. This is a beautiful park and is a popular place to entertain Berliners come away from city life. With established gardens, trees, flowers, coffee and beer garden, there is even a secluded area reserved for nudists, who often come here to sunbathe in peace and tranquility.

Berlin is a relaxed city with an exciting atmosphere and a strong sense of change. Tourism is becoming big business, suggesting that despite Berlin’s troubled past, this city has great future ahead of!

With the recent opening of the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) this cosmopolitan city attracts attention not only for lovers of contemporary art (the new wing, fourth floor, is dedicated only to art events from the decade of the sixties to date), but fans of Frank Gehry, renowned architect, certainly a native of Toronto, in charge of this renovation.

And as all its buildings, the AGO also spectacular in size and by the use of materials, has become the new hub of the city. Visible from many perspectives, this massive vessel merges with Lake Ontario and dialogues with the artistic and avant-garde neighborhood that protects from the early twentieth century.

At 317 Dundas Street West is the new entry to this exhibition will become a must for this year. The building’s design is striking to the eye, the stairs are a detail that gives a lot of personality to the property.

Do not miss the Canadian art section there are collected more than 11 thousand years of history. And while a visit to the restaurant do not fall ill, please do not hesitate to go to the room dedicated to the great Italian master Giuseppe Penone, the youngest member of the Arte Povera movement, takes your breath away.

You might ask to go: (If you have the means) is to enjoy in person from a local legend most peculiar. The Buddhist Lent, based on the lunar calendar and commemorates the Buddha’s return to earth, usually ends with moon filled in mid or late October. In Thailand matches the known as Bang Fai Phaya or the king of hardcore bolar Naga, a strange natural phenomenon that hundreds of people on the border between Laos and Thailand meet to contemplate.

According to legend, this phenomenon is caused by Naga, the serpent of the river flowing out of his cave marina to celebrate the return of Buddha. The scientists say this kind of shooting stars are formed when the full moon brings to the surface bubbles of methane produced by organic matter coming into contact with the combustion air. The city is small and charming and, like most border cities, has a vibrant street market. Accommodation Mut Mee, on the banks of the river is the nicest.

The best time to go is between 6 and 9 pm at the full moon of the eleventh lunar month (October), at the end of Passover Buddhist. How can you go, a comfortable overnight train from Bangkok, and Nong Khai. Nok Air and Air Asia fly to Udon Thani, Nong Khai 37 miles. Both cities are connected by bus. What you should not miss is the night boat and fireworks culminating Easter Buddhist.

The art blends with nature and architecture in BenesseArt Site Naoshima (Japan), a hybrid between a museum and hotel containing a wide selection of works from the most prestigious artists, including 100 Live and Die by Bruce Nauman. The work of Cai Guo-Qiang, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Claude Monet will blend perfectly with the surroundings, whether inside or outside the buildings.

Thus, the pieces of fiberglass boat of Shinro Ohtake protruding from the sand at water’s edge and Yayoi Kusama’s pumpkin makes the quay a most unusual place. Works by Claude Monet and James Turrell are part of the Chichu Museum’s permanent exhibition, designed by Tadao Ando. Another work of Turrell, Backside of the Moon, is part of the Art House Project, a collection of four old buildings transformed by modern artists in art spaces.

The facility comes into view in total darkness, revealing the art in an unexpected way after the eyes adjust to the absence of light.

When to go: The cooler days of spring and autumn are ideal for exploring, but due to its proximity to the sea, the fog is present at midday throughout the year.

How to go: It’s about two hours of airports in Okayama and Takamatsu (bus, train and boat).

Do not miss the hot tub of Cultural Melting Bath, a park of rocks imported from China.

In Sichuan province in China, you can enjoy a road trip on top of a mountain range to over 4,200 meters. It really is a walk unusual and very interesting.

The northwestern Sichuan-Tibet highway passes through the region of Kham (their nomadic feel-dependent in both China and Lhasa) and also passes through – Tagong, a colorful city with a single street. New facilities ensures the visitor the possibility of sleep on it, as Jya Drolma and Gayla’s Guesthouse, offering rooms in real homes in Tibetan (HD: from 4 Euros; book with a tour operator) and Sally’s Guesthouse, where they serve the best food in Tagong (incoming from 1 euro).

Farther north are the Tibetan villages with fortified walls, its wooden facade, its typical windows and carved ornaments. And beyond, Ganzi, a market town with a monastery. The highway extends to Dege Scripture Printing House where the mantras creates on canvas and in stone writings. The library is estimated that retains 70 percent of Tibetan literature.

The best time to go is in August. In July, Tagong celebrates its annual festival of horse racing. How should you go: Traveling on your own if you do not speak the language is quite complicated. The ideal is the private tour. If you go, you should not miss: The excellent network of rough trails.

If we seek the end of the world, a corner where nobody can find and, at worst, they can not get there for you, this place exists and is in the Maldives, particularly in the North Ari Atoll Fesdu Island, in the W Retreat & Spa hotel.

Here you can only get with seaplane from Male Seaplane Airport is 72 miles. The fare is around 200 euros and it is necessary to inform the hotel staff to prepare the arrival pier, once there you just have to let go and enjoy the suites, some with private pools.

It is necessary to consider the plane operates only during the day because at night you can not ditch. The coral reef that constitutes the major impediment to closer to the island by other means than the Air, is one of the greatest attractions of the atoll.

Dive in these waters is a unique experience and the hotel offers great facilities, courses and excursions to swim with whale sharks, the hammerhead or fish blanket. After the bath is highly recommended a romantic dinner with light seafood of the moon.

But one of the jewels of Rota are its three main beaches, each with different qualities but are a perfect complement, the tranquility of the “Rompidillo, several kilometers long, fine sand of the” Rib “and the bravery of the “Punta Candor”, all with full-service, Blue Flag and luckily not too crowded yet.

In recent years it has built a boardwalk that goes from the Costilla beach to Punta Candor, with several miles of trail and runs around him from a huge pine forest, with several outlets to the beaches through the area protected habitat of the chameleon, a relaxed ride with lots of sights and smells

Bar, capital of Puglia, is the most important commercial town, which goes hand in hand with its thriving port, now a key tourist site of the Mediterranean, from where the ferry to Greece and Turkey. It is not necessary to embark abandon large and lonely beaches. The Bar are privileged travelers chosen because it is still undiscovered by mass tourism.

In the old town overlooking the Adriatic Sea, made tangible traces they left a path of various peoples and cultures: Romans, Byzantines, Arabs and Normans. To the south are discovered umbertino palaces, like the Teatro Kursaal Santalucia example of Art Nouveau or Art Nouveau Italian, and the Palazzo della Provincia, with its exceptional Pinakothek. Parallel to the sea, are Madonella neighborhoods and Japigia, with its limestone medieval houses and balconies full of flowers. It runs from the road to Torre a Mare, a traditional fishermen’s district that provides seafood to upscale restaurants Bar.

Taking the Lungomare north, near the modern port, one arrives at the fabulous Fiera del Levante, which sells everything from handicrafts to jewelry, clothing, footwear and furniture from around the world.
The churches, cathedrals and monasteries abound in the Citta Vecchia much as local souvenirs, bars and trattorias, ideal for a break while tasting one insalata di mare, facing the sun. The particularity of these rioni (neighborhoods) is to have preserved their own identity, simple and popular, very different from the “big city” which begins just cross the Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

Modern lines of the residential neighborhoods of San Pasquale, Piccone and Carrassi contrast with the huge green domes of the Russian Orthodox Church of San Nicola. The Bar’s commercial vocation is evident on “this side”, where numerous shopping centers, stores and other leading European brands gastronomic poles. Unmissable feature is the stone pizza, thin and tasty varieties typical. To make honor pizza, roaming around the tables looking furtively, you have to eat Italian high, ie .. a whole pizza for each guest!.
